It became necessary to replace the tyres of the Armoured Cars and motor cycles during 1934 although it had been expected that replacement would not be necessary until 1935 and consequently no provision had been made for replacement in the 1934 Estimates.
A supplementary vote to cover the deficit thus caused is requested.
The above is to be met from savings under Ammunitions (1934 Estimates page 86 sub-head 3).

This Sub-station is situated in an outlying district of Kowloon and it is considered that greater efficiency would be obtained by the provision of married quarters for a Sub-officer and Ambulance Dresser, so that in normal circumstances these officers could always be available when re- quired. Meantime these officers-in-charge reside in rented quarters.
The provision of this additional accommolation is estimated to cost $2,460 and a revote from the unexpended balance on the amount voted in 1934 is accordingly requested.

25.-10, Harbour Department. B.-Air Services :-Flying Fees for Assistant Superintendent of Aerodrome.
To provide 45 hours annual flying of Mr. E. NELSON, Assistant Superintendent of Aerodrome in order that he may maintain his existing Pilots Licence and be enabled to test, in the air, candidates for commercial Pilots "B" Licence.
